FFW
Solutions Architect bridging pre-sales and delivery for Drupal and WordPress agency engagements.
At FFW I worked client-facing across both sides of the fence — supporting sales and delivery teams on new engagements through scoping, estimating, and proposal writing, and consulting on active projects as a general technologist. That meant discovery and architecture documentation for Drupal and WordPress builds, site and performance audits, DevOps/CI tooling, and reporting recommendations, depending on what a given client actually needed.
It was the first job where the work was explicitly about bridging technical and non-technical teams rather than just building — a direction that carried straight into the sales engineering roles that followed.
Scoping and estimating well enough to write an accurate contract is its own discipline, separate from actually building the thing.
Most of the value was in turning a client's business requirements into something an engineering team could actually estimate against.
